M-14 Napier to US-23
The project is for 7.91 miles of HMA paving on M-14 from Napier to Earhart Road. Work included, cold milling of existing road surface, pavement markings, and HMA resurfacing.
M-3 Reconstruction from 11 Mile Road to 14 Mile Road
The project includes 3.44 mi of hot mix asphalt reconstruction, concrete paving, curb, gutter, sidewalk and ramps, sewer work, signing and pavement markings
I-75 at M-10 Bridge Repairs
The project includes deck replacement, bridge removal and rehabilitation, steel painting, substructure repairs, signing, approach roadway reconstruction, ITS work and pavement markings.
2020 Metro Region Bridge Scoping
This project included bridge scoping for 40 structures located throughout the Metro Region.
I-275 REHAB
This major inlay project received an award from the Michigan Concrete Association (MCA) in 2017, in the category of Divided Highways – Urban.
I-696 BRIDGES
Referred to by residents as the “Autobahn of Detroit,”, I-696 is a major east-west freeway in the metropolitan area that carries massive traffic volumes in both directions between I-275 & I-94.
I-75 ITS DOWNRIVER DESIGN
The “Downriver” segment of I-75 represents a key passageway in MDOT’s interstate and international trade network. It is relied upon heavily for movement of commercial goods between Ohio, Canada, & surrounding states, making it a critical corridor to monitor & manage.
US-23 ATM FLEX ROUTE
Every day, 60,000-65,000 vehicles travel US-23 between the US-23/M-14 interchange and M-36. Congestion & delays are frequent, especially in the southbound direction during peak rush hour traffic. The US-23 “Flex Route” project aims to improve these delays.
