Geotechnical exploration and foundation recommendations are services provided by Tyme Consulting Engineers, Inc to evaluate the soil and rock conditions at a construction sites and to make recommendations for the design and construction of foundations. Geotechnical exploration involves the collection of data about the soil and rock conditions at a construction site. This typically includes drilling boreholes, collecting soil and rock samples, and performing laboratory tests to determine the properties of the soil and rock.  Our staff use this data to create a detailed profile of the subsurface conditions and to identify any potential issues that may affect the design and construction of foundations.

Once the geotechnical exploration is completed, our staff will make recommendations for the design and construction of foundations. These recommendations typically include the type of foundation that should be used (such as shallow or deep foundations), the size and depth of the foundation, and any special considerations that should be considered. Our geotechnical services include engineering analysis, soil boring data sheets.
