TYME Consulting Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mike Gorman has joined as Senior Project Manager. Based in the firm’s Livonia office, Gorman will have an active role in the firm’s business development and construction engineering services in Michigan.
Gorman brings over 32 years of engineering experience to his new role. Prior to joining TYME, he served as an Assistant Delivery & Operations Field Engineer for the Michigan Department of Transportation’s Taylor TSC, where he worked on bridge, road, and maintenance construction projects for 30 years. He is known for his expertise in leading large projects and teams, contract and project management, scheduling, cost estimating, quality assurance and budget oversight. For the past two years, Mike served as Deputy Director of Road for Wayne County Department of Public Services. His role included providing technical engineering assessments, developing, executing, and overseeing multiple contracts, identifying and coordinating utility stakeholders, and working with various railroad entities on numerous complex projects. Gorman is a graduate of Wayne State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
